March is a meaningful time of reflection and celebration. Across the United States, we observe Women’s History Month and celebrate International Women’s Day on March8. This moment reminds us of the remarkable strength, leadership, and resilience of women who have helped shape families, communities, and nations. At the Asian American Women Association of Orange County (AAWA-OC), our mission is rooted in that same spirit of compassion, service, and community leadership. We believe that when people come together with a shared purpose to serve others, we can build stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

In recent months, our board members and volunteers have continued our monthly visits to Brookdale Assisted Living in Garden Grove. These visits bring meaningful moments of music, conversation, and companionship to residents.
